Last updated 2026-05-15 No-log policy page
Plain-English summary

We do not log the websites you visit or the content of your traffic. We do process account, payment, device, support, and security data needed to run the service responsibly.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, company details, billing identifiers, and account configuration.
  • Payment data: processor-facing payment records, invoices, charge status, and anti-fraud signals.
  • Technical data: app version, device class, authentication events, abuse-prevention telemetry, and limited operational metadata needed to keep the service working.
  • Support data: messages, attachments, and issue details you send to support, sales, legal, or security contacts.

How we use it

We use personal data to provide the service, authenticate users, process billing, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, improve reliability, meet legal obligations, and protect the rights of VELA, customers, and third parties.

Our legal bases may include contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent where consent is required.

No-log policy

For consumer connectivity and similar services, VELA does not intentionally log the browsing destinations you visit or the content of the traffic you send through the network. We do not build customer browsing profiles for advertising.

What we still process: limited authentication events, account state, payment state, abuse-prevention signals, support context, and operational telemetry needed to secure and run the platform.

Sharing and transfers

We may share data with payment processors, infrastructure providers, customer support tooling, email providers, legal advisers, auditors, and regulators where necessary. We do not sell personal data.

If data is transferred across borders, we use appropriate safeguards where required, such as contractual protections and provider-level controls.

Retention and rights

We retain personal data for as long as needed for service delivery, security, billing, compliance, dispute handling, and legitimate business records. Retention periods depend on the data category and applicable law.

  • You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where applicable.
  • You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
  • You may contact your local regulator if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.
